After fulfilling your order, you can print only fulfilled items from your order for the packing slips. Our app helps you to create invoices in the same currency your customers used while shopping in your store or the primary currency of your business.

Note: I am not looking to sell digital files but provide resources for our customers to be able to obtain further information on the products we sell. I know that you're hoping to avoid the files section, however, hopefully, this will peak your interest. Copy and paste the shortened URL as a hyperlink to a piece of text within your product. Test the link! Since the URL is directly connected to your files section the link should lead you to an automatic download.
Outside of this workaround, I haven't seen any apps that could create this type of setup. It might be possible to have this coded in which a Shopify Expert could help with if you're unable to get a suitable answer. Trevor Unfortunately I have not been able to upload. They are 2D and 3D files for our products that we would like people to be able to download from our site. Is it maybe because I am still on a trial account?

Apologies for my incorrect assumption on which files would work; while I was unable to find a specific list that outlines the file types that are supported, it does look like we have a basic outline on our help doc here. If you're finding that the files you need to upload are not supported, then this wouldn't be something we'd be able to bypass; however, you can explore other file sharing options.
Google Drive, Dropbox, pCloud, or any other online file storage software can support a number of file types while also providing a downloadable link.
